Intensive Summer Program Course of Language and Italian Culture

The private University Maria SS. Assunta (LUMSA), located on via 21 Traspontina, Rome (near the Vatican City), offers an Intensive Summer Program Course of Language and Italian Culture for American university students.

Dates: Monday June 30th to Saturday August 10th 2008.

Lodging is at "Regina Mundi" near the Termini and the University “La Sapienza.”

The summer program includes language study, Italian Art History, Italian History, and Italian Civics. It integrates visits to the city of Rome and other Italian cities and places from the artistic and historical interest. Also included are recreational and leisure activities.

The program offers 30 credits.
The cost is 4,500.00 Euros and includes roundtrip flight fares, lodging, bus fares for day trips, and other expenses. Students are responsible for out of pockets expenses: meals, shopping, personal laundry and spending monies, estimated at 30 Euros per day.
