There will be three Italian films at Cannes this year (May 14-25, 2008. 61st edition): two In Competition plus one Special Screenings:
1. Gomorra (Gomorrah) by Matteo Garrone, based on the book by Roberto Saviano
2. Il Divo by Paolo Sorrentino, about the life of Giulio Andreotti
3. Sanguepazzo (Crazy Blood) by Marco Tullio Giordana, about the life of two stars in the Fascist "white telephone" cinema.
