Torino Film Festival [26th edition Nov 21-29, 2008]
offers a large number of sections. Among them:
ITALIAN PANORAMA
A non-competitive section that is dedicated exclusively to Italian films, both fiction and documentaries.
ITALIANA.DOC
Competition dedicated to Italian documentaries in film or video. This is one of the Festival’s main sections. The works compete for the Prize for Best Italian Documentary.
ITALIANA.SHORTS
Short films have their own language, timing and rhythms. This is why the Festival includes a competitive space just for them. The films, representing some of the most significant and recent productions in Italy, will compete for the First Prize.
L’AMORE DEGLI INIZI
This section concentrates on the early careers during the late 1960s and early 1970s of Italian filmmakers.
REGIONAL COMPETITION
This competitive section is dedicated to the best short films made by filmmakers and videomakers who were born or live in Piedmont. The works compete for the Prize for Best Short film.
