Piede di Dio, the first movie by writer, scholar, scriptwriter and magazine director Luigi Sardiello, tells a story situated in the soccer world. According to filmmaker, it paints, like a comedy Italian style, a portrait of Italy through the lens of a sport which time ago was a play and which is now the metaphor of a life-system based on status symbols, money or television.
