Hadrian's Athenaeum discovered

The Roman emperor Hadrian (AD 117-138) was a great sponsor of the arts. Nicknamed the 'Greekling' for his love of all things Greek, he sets up an institute of liberal arts called Athenaeum. It has been discovered in Rome, near the so-called "Altare della Patria" [Altar of the Fatherland].

After the discovery of Nero's Dining Room [ video BBC News], another "tessera" from the past.
