"A tribute to one of the greatest Renaissance masters will give the unique opportunity to admire, one next to the other, some of his “dispersed” masterpieces together with the most famous ones. The exhibition “Botticelli in the Lombard collections” will be held between the 12th November 2010 and the 28th February 2011 at the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan. For the first time, the works of the Florentine painter kept in public collections of the city and region will be reunited. This exhibition is only one of the events to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Botticelli’s death." [CulturaItalia]
